THE CHALLENGE

Sasria, an SEO, is the only non-life insurer that provides special risk cover to all individuals, businesses government entities that own assets in South Africa. This extra ordinary insurance provides cover against risks such as civil commotion, public disorder, strikes, riots and terrorism, making South Africa one of the few countries in the world that provides this type of insurance and at particularly affordable premiums.

The marketing challenge required that we raise the profile of this under-the- radar special risk insurer, as Sasria had historically been considered as an incidental add-on to insurance quotes. Being a special risk cover, it is worth noting that the potential for strikes, property destruction and protests was top of mind during the pandemic.
