(2013 – 2021)

Back in 2013 the first brief to Ebony+Ivory from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) saw us rapidly roll out a new Corporate Identity (CI) for the financial institution. Over the years we have co-navigated market highs and lows with the JSE Marketing team as we have been driven to build the brand of Africa’s largest stock exchange.

With niche audiences and highly specialised technical products, the JSE needed to engage in a way that made it more accessible. It needed to become known as a stock exchange that was motivated by partnership and innovative delivery across its multiple divisions.


Ebony+Ivory provided the JSE with a full service creative and media solution informed by strategic insights. In giving the brand team a single-interface, one-stop- shop approach, substantial cost savings were enabled for the stock exchange.
We have been responsible for above the line brand and product awareness and below the line delivery, which has included brand activations, exhibitions and internalisation campaigns across all divisions. Campaigns and collateral have been created for the business units of Capital Markets, Information Services, MCA and Post Trade Services.
